According to reports from Mirror Football yesterday evening, in-demand Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca has agreed a move to AC Milan.

The Colombian international has been in incredible form since moving to Roman Sanchez Pizjuan two summers ago, going on to fire Sevilla to consecutive Europa League titles with 49 goals in 106 appearances – including a brace in the tournament’s final against Dnipro in May.

Earlier this month, Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United were all linked to the 28 year-old, forcing Sevilla sporting director Monchi to insist any potential suitor must activate his £21.5million release clause.

Sky Sports’ La Liga correspondent Guillem Balage has since claimed the 5 foot 11 striker would welcome a summer switch to the English top flight.

But last week Los Rojiblancos revealed that they were yet to receive any offers for Bacca and it appears AC Milan have now taken advantage of the hesitation from their rival suitors.

As quoted by Mirror Football, Bacca has revealed; “It has to be finalised, but it is true that we reached an agreement with Milan. My representative (agent Sergio Barila) told me they are the club with 100 per cent possibility of signing me.”

Barila has since confirmed the news. “I can confirm that Milan and the player have reached an agreement. Carlos has chosen the best for his future, it is normal to be happy,” he said.
