Leeds failed to find the breakthrough at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon as Preston kept Thomas Christiansen’s side at bay despite going down to 10 men.

The Whites came into the match after beating Bolton last weekend with a narrow 3-2 win before dispatching Port Vale by four goals to one on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.

Leeds did the double over Preston last season but Alex Neil’s side prevented the Whites from finding the back of the net, nullifying all of the Whites’ attempts to break the deadlock.

The likes of Kemar Roofe, Ezjgan Alioski and Chris Wood all had chances after Ben Pearson was sent off for a second bookable offence, but they failed to add a second three points to their tally in their hunt for promotion.

This Is FutbolĀ rates the Leeds players out of 10 following the frustrating draw at Elland Road, including how a new signing struggled in the final third with a rating of 4/10.
