Everton are yet to properly replace the loss of Romelu Lukaku who joined Manchester United earlier this summer with only three weeks left to go in the transfer window.

Ronald Koeman has brought in Sandro Ramirez for just over £5million, but at just 21 years of age he is not seen as Lukaku’s immediate replacement with Wayne Rooney better used in the number 10 role.

Everton began their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win over Stoke City at Goodison Park thanks to a Wayne Rooney goal just before half-time, but a new striker should still be lured to the blue half of Merseyside.

This Is Futbol has picked out one dream signing and a reality one that could help replace Lukaku and give competition to Rooney and Ramirez.

Dream Signing: Moussa Dembele

Everton were reportedly interested in signing French wonderkid Dembele way back in June from Celtic, after the 20-year-old shone in the green and white of Brendan Rodgers’ side last season.

The Sun claimed in June that Everton were ready to splash £30million on the former Fulham striker, after he fired home 32 goals in 49 league and cup appearances during the Hoops’ treble-winning season.

However, a move to sign the France youth international is yet to materialise despite Koeman yet to bring a man to Goodison Park that is identified as Lukaku’s replacement.

In what would be a fantastic signing, Dembele is only going to get better and has already proven he can score against the best with a brace during the 3-3 draw against Man City in the Champions League last term.

Possessing pace, power and an unwavering ability to find the back of the net, Dembele would terrorise Premier League defences in a Toffees shirt.

Here is an alternative to Dembele that Everton are much more likely to sign, with his asking price reportedly £4million less than he cost last summer:
