Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Barry Douglas shared some photographs of Leeds’ first day back in pre-season training.
The 30-year-old left-back posted on Twitter: ‘Pre-season number 13 I think, and always with a big smile. 1st day complete’ before sharing a couple of images of him and his teammates in training.
In reaction to his post, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many praising Douglas and offering messages of encouragement, while others used the opportunity to call for the player to remain at the club beyond the summer.
Hope you get a run this year Baz, been class towards the end of last season.

Since arriving at Leeds from Wolves in a £3.06 million move back in 2018, Douglas has gone on to make 43 appearances for the club, providing five assists.
Last season, which saw Leeds earn promotion back to the Premier League as Championship winners, meaning they will be playing their first top-flight season in 16 years next term, the left-back struggled for game time somewhat, making just 15 league appearances.
However, despite this fact, it seems that the Elland Road faithful are still big fans of Douglas, with many more calling for the player to stay at the club amid rumours of interest from elsewhere.
Would you hold on to Barry Douglas?

As such, it would certainly seem as if the majority of these Leeds fans really enjoy having Douglas at the club, and are extremely keen to keep the defender at Elland Road for the club’s upcoming Premier League campaign.
