A group of Leeds United supporters have been responding to Phil Hay’s tweet in which he relayed the news that the EFL clubs have voted to allow divisions to be decided on an unweighted points-per-game system if individual seasons cannot be finished.
He also confirmed that promotion and relegation will be retained and the play-offs will take place in all circumstances. The EFL released an official statement confirming the decision and it has since been announced that League One and League Two have opted for curtailment.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded to Hay’s tweet.

The Whites are currently top of the Championship and Marcelo Bielsa’s men are on course to achieve promotion to the Premier League for the first time since they were relegated in 2004, therefore it is no wonder the update has been met with such joy by a section of the club’s fanbase.
