Graham Smyth has caught the attention of some Leeds United fans after he shared an article that was recently published by the Yorkshire Evening Post that includes some positive news regarding Whites attacker Tyler Roberts.

This report shares that the Whites’ on-loan attacker Jean-Kevin Augustin is “being assessed by the Leeds medical staff over fresh injury concerns”. The Yorkshire Evening Post previously published an article discussing the concerns that have arisen over Augustin’s fitness, with the club’s medical staff said to be unsure whether or not he will be available for Leeds’ remaining nine league games.

However, despite this setback for the Frenchman, who joined Leeds on loan from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig back in January, this report shares some positive news for Leeds fans as it reveals that Roberts “has caught the eye of teammates and staff with his physical condition and form in training”.

This article goes on to share some comments recently made about Roberts from Whites midfielder Adam Forshaw when he appeared on the ‘Leeds That’ podcast, where he revealed that Roberts “looks in great shape”.

Plenty of Leeds fans have flocked to Smyth’s tweet sharing this news about Roberts. Some Whites fans have responded to Smyth’s post by stating that they think the journalist will jinx Leeds and Roberts by discussing the attacker’s impressive form in training.

Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

Do you think that Tyler Roberts will play a significant role in Leeds' remaining nine Championship fixtures?

Meanwhile, other Whites fans replied to this tweet to share their confidence in the Wales international

Roberts has started just four Championship games this season, however, the attacker scored two goals in Leeds’ 4-0 league win over Hull City at the end of February, which may indicate that he could have been entering into a decent spell of form just prior to the Championship’s postponement in March

With this in mind, it may be understandable why some Leeds fans appear to be confident in Roberts’ ability.
