A group of Leeds United fans have been responding to the club’s recent Twitter post which shared the EFL’s statement regarding its potential restart. The board met on Wednesday to consider the feedback and implications of the divisional club meetings.
The statement confirms that in their eyes, resuming the current season in its existing format remains the first choice, but that in the event the season is curtailed once more, final places will be determined on an unweighted points-per-game basis.
Here is how some of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the report.

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, these Leeds United fans were thrilled to learn that the idea of voiding the season is not an option for the EFL at present. Leeds are currently top of the Championship and were on course to earn promotion back to the Premier League for the first time since they were relegated at the end of the 2003/04 season and these supporters appear to be confident Marcelo Bielsa’s side can achieve their goal following this statement.
