Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to a post from Toby Alderweireld which shares an image of the Belgian defender back in training.
The former Atletico Madrid defender shared a picture of himself on his Twitter page, before adding the comment “Back to work”, which has delighted a lot of Spurs fans. Premier League clubs have been allowed to return to small group training this week as top-flight football edges closer to a return to action.
So far this season, Spurs’ 31-year-old centre-back has averaged a slightly disappointing 6.79 rating for his performances in the Premier League. The North London club have also kept just four clean sheets in the top-flight, something Alderweireld will no doubt be keen to improve on when the season resumes.
