A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing the recent actions of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish. Just hours after the attacking midfielder shared a message via social media urging fans to stay home in order to reduce the spread of the virus, he crashed his car into three parked cars in the West Midlands on his way home from a party (via The Sun).
Some of the Whites fans believe that had it been one of their players, the incident would have received much more negative coverage in the media and one joked there would have been a three hour special on the incident on Sky Sports.
Couldn’t agree more mate

Everyone calling for a points deduction
An 8 game ban on the probability that he did it
A transfer ban
And a £200,000 fine
And a suspended threat of relegation to the national league if 1 of our players break the stay at home rules #alaw #stayingintogether— Jeff nurse (@Jeffnurse62) April 2, 2020
One fan even mentioned Spygate which resulted in Leeds being fined £200k and it was still being mentioned nine months later.
Like Spygate??? when did that even end. Bielsa did a presentation that lasted longer than this with Grealish #WeAreLeeds!

One fan even went way over the top and suggested that Leeds would have been handed a points deduction, which could relate to the fact that Leeds fans seemingly feel like the FA have an agenda against them.

Can you imagine @talkSPORT letting a
Leeds United player off
the hook so easily,
They’d have a pole
running asking
“should Leeds United have points deducted” ? #LufcTalkSport says yes to drink driving ?
No to watching football from a footpath ?

What do we think?
The recent viral outbreak has seen the UK government impose strict lockdown measures regarding social distancing and therefore Grealish shouldn’t have been out in the first place. Accidents happen but given the current circumstances, we can understand why these Leeds fans believe Grealish should face more severe punishment.
