A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from Phil Hay that includes a piece about Stuart Dallas and why the Athletic reporter has selected the 29-year-old as Leeds’ Player of the Year.
Hay believes that Marcelo Bielsa has played Dallas in numerous different positions this season because he does not want to leave him out of the team.
As a result of this, Dallas has played in five positions this season.
However, the reason Hay has selected Dallas as the Whites’ Player of the Year over Kalvin Phillips is because the Northern Irishman has improved massively this season and filled in at important times.
Do you agree with Phil Hay's decision?
Yes, Dallas deserves it
No, should have picked someone else
Certainly, these Leeds fans agree with Hay’s choice.
It was a difficult choice for Leeds United's player of the year this season and I was conflicted. Kalvin Phillips has been the best of them. But in the end, and for a variety of reasons, I went for Stuart Dallas.

Easy decision for me, Dallas is committed to the cause beyond belief

I love Kalvin like every one does but 100% agree, Dallas been outstanding and his commitment never drops below 100%! Lucky to have the team we have with a few proper player of the year nominations

Totally agree . If we do get promoted , this or any season it will be players like Dallas that will get us over the line . Mot

Mine too, Phil. I love Kalvin and firmly believe he should be playing for England, but Dallas has never let us, nor himself, down.

Finally, so many polls on Twitter and Dallas left out of most. A clear winner, an undeniable choice when a level head is applied with logic.

We are blessed right now

Nothing but love for Dallas, in all his seasons for Leeds. He’s come to epitomise our side. A wonderful ambassador for what it means to wear the shirt. A great season.

Correct decision Phil ?

What do we think?
Dallas has played in every league game this season for Leeds, and in the league, he averages a 6.9/10 rating (via WhoScored), making him the ninth-highest performing player in the Whites’ squad.
Hay makes a good point that Dallas has filled in for various players at vital times, and in his article, he makes some strong points for why Dallas deserves to be Leeds’ Player of the Year, with plenty of Leeds fans in agreement.
