A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to The Square Ball’s tweet about Monday’s game between Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest.
The game at the Riverside ended 2-2, and it leaves Forest eight points adrift of the Whites.
Are Forest now no longer a threat to Leeds?
Yes, the gap is too big now
No, can't rule them out
Since they beat Leeds on 8th February, Sabri Lamouchi’s men have won just one league match, and the Whites, in contrast, have drawn one and won four.
Certainly, many Leeds fans were pleased with this result, and some believe that Forest are now too far away to be considered a threat.
Good result for us, that.

Other Whites supporters, though, are worried Leeds will still blow their automatic promotion hopes.
I’m not saying anything yet still 30 points to play for.

What do we think?
This could be considered a big blow for Forest’s automatic promotion hopes, as the result leaves them eight points behind Leeds.
They nearly didn’t even get a point as Boro led up until the 86th minute before Lewis Grabban grabbed an equaliser.
Next up for Forest is a game against Millwall on Friday night; meanwhile, Leeds face Huddersfield Town.
