Some Southampton fans have reacted to a video of Che Adams scoring for the club’s Under-23s side on Monday evening.
Adams was featuring in the Saints Under-23s’ recent clash against Leicester City’s Under-23 side. Oriol Romeu was also playing in the game, as the Saints side picked up a 3-1 loss on the night.
Is Che Adams at the Premier League level yet?
I think he is
He's a Championship level player
Adams was on the scoresheet in the game. When the Saints’ Twitter account posted about the goal on Monday evening, many Southampton fans were left to react and give their opinions.

It’s not confidence then. He just isn’t premier League level.

The Saints signed Adams from Birmingham City in the summer and the BBC stated that they were keen on signing the striker in the previous winter, too, as he arrived for a reported £15m fee in July.
Since arriving though, Adams is yet to score a single Premier League goal for the club. However, he does have a tally of four assists in all competitions in 26 games under Ralph Hasenhuttl for the side.
What do we think?
Adams’ goalscoring tally for Birmingham last season stood at 22 goals in all competitions. It shows that while there might be a good player in there, he needs time and confidence to make the jump to the Premier League. His goal for the Under-23 side could give him confidence for the future.
