Despite having 19 attempts at goal, Leeds United were unable to break down Wigan Athletic’s stubborn defence on Saturday, and as a result, they suffered their seventh defeat of the league season. Marcelo Bielsa’s side surrendered their place at the top of the Championship leaving the fans extremely frustrated.
One missed opportunity in particular has left these fans incredibly disappointed, and that chance fell to Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison after Patrick Bamford’s delivery into the penalty area.
Should Jack Harrison have taken the shot first-time?

What do we think?
Harrison should shoot first-time, but for whatever reason, he felt it best to try and engineer more space for himself. His over-elaborate attempt led to him being unable to convert the chance into what could have been a vital goal for the Whites. However, it’s an isolated incident involving a player who’s consistently performed for the team this season – therefore there is no need for an over-reaction.
The loanee has started all of Leeds United’s Championship games this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists along the way.
