Leeds United’s Under-18s were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup by Manchester United on Wednesday night. The Whites sold out the away section at Old Trafford as 1,400 supporters made the 37-mile trip from Elland Road to support their team.
Although the hosts came out on top in the end, Mark Jackson’s side gave a good account of themselves and the travelling fans were particularly impressed by the young Stuart McKinstry.
Is Stuart McKinstry ready to fight for a place in the first team squad?

What do we think?
Stuart McKinstry joined Leeds United from Motherwell in July 2019 and the West Yorkshire club had to pay £225k in order to secure his services (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
The 17-year-old’s preferred position is on the right of midfield and with his current contract due to expire in June 2021, you suspect it won’t be long before the club’s hierarchy consider putting a longer-term deal on the table for the Scotsman.
