These Leeds United fans have reacted to Phil Hay’s latest injury update on Tyler Roberts’ tight hamstring.
Roberts has played 10 times in the Championship for Leeds this season, but has only managed to score once in the league. Roberts joined the Peacocks for just £2.57m and is now valued by Transfermarkt at £3.6m.
Phil Hay updated the fans about the injury news on his Twitter page, here are some of the Leeds fans’ replies:
Tyler Roberts is here but has a tight hamstring. Left out as a precaution. #lufc

Pathetic his signing. We can’t keep bank rolling him/Forshaw if we want to go up. They’re seen as senior players but they’re ALWAYS injured.

Unbelievable

He’s been a waste of a wage in all honesty can’t manage a few games without being injured again

Would you like to see Leeds United sell Tyler Roberts?
Yes
No
Roberts has played nine times for Wales’ senior national team, despite being born in Gloucester England. However, some are clearly disappointed he can’t get going, whilst others can’t understand how he is a footballer with the number of apparent injury problems he has had to deal with.
Just get rid of him. Just what use is he to us. Really need a centre mid to play with phillips and klich.

Waste of space that lad. Too injury prone!

What Do We Think?
An injury-prone player is probably one of the worst things a club can have, which is a real shame as Marcelo Bielsa clearly rates Tyler Roberts highly to play such a young player 10 times in the Championship this season.
Indeed, the 20-year-old may still have plenty of time on his hands, however there may be questions about what he brings to Elland Road as he has only managed to provide the Whites with four goals and six assists in his 41 appearances for the club (per Transfermarkt).
