These Leeds United fans have been discussing the latest Marcelo Bielsa comments about Eddie Nketiah.
According to Sky Sports, Marcelo Bielsa has stated: “I don’t know the reasons that made Arsenal decide Eddie doesn’t continue with us. But, if the reason is that he didn’t play enough, nobody can guarantee a player the quantity of minutes he will have – and nobody can say to one player that he is not going to have competition in the position.”
Eddie Nketiah featured 17 times in the Championship for Leeds United, scoring three goals and managing to get just the one assist.
Phil Hay relayed Bielsa’s comments to Leeds United fans on Twitter. Here is what the fans had to say about the Argentine:
A long explanation on the Nketiah situation, which suggests that Bielsa feels the need to have his say on this. Saying now that he won't sign certain players to satisfy public opinion. Wants to sign what he needs. #lufc

These fans are clearly completely behind Bielsa on this choice, with Nketiah returning back to Arsenal on 1st January, it will be interesting to see who gets brought in to replace the 20-year-old.
Good no point signing anyone just for the sake of it, an been stuck paying pointless wages.

Guaranteeing minutes is wrong all round.. you’ve got to work hard for them.

Do you trust Marcelo Bielsa to gain promotion?
Yes!
Nope!
What Do We Think?
The strongest Marcelo Bielsa quote from Sky Sports is probably this one: “We are not going to choose one player that justifies us in front of the public, but doesn’t make us strong as a team.” Basically translating as Bielsa will only pick the player he feels is right for Leeds United and not a hyped-up youngster.
We would definitely trust Bielsa’s judgement, so Peacocks fans shouldn’t be panicking just yet.
