Aston Villa fans have been heaping praise on Orjan Nyland after his excellent performance against Leicester City on Wednesday.
This comes after the goalkeeper shared a post on his official Twitter page applauding his side’s “great result”, as well as the “superb support” from the travelling Villa fans in their 1-1 draw in the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg.
This post then gathered a wave of replies from Villa fans who were eager to show their appreciation for Nyland’s heroic display in the match.

Recently, Nyland, who is valued at £1.35 million (as per Transfermarkt), has had to fill in for Tom Heaton, Villa’s first-choice goalkeeper who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury.
Since taking the reigns from Heaton, this draw in midweek particularly has shown that Nyland is very capable of filling in for the injured Englishman for the foreseeable future.
