These Leeds United fans discuss Laurens De Bock’s loan deal to ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie.

ADO Den Haag announced the signing on the club’s official website, stating: “ADO Den Haag has immediately secured the services of Laurens de Bock. The 27-year-old left-footed defender will be hired from Leeds United for the remainder of the season, with an option to take him over definitively next summer.” This news was later relayed to the Leeds United fans via Graham Smyth on Twitter.

The Den Haag announcement states that the Dutch club has “an option to take him” next summer, most likely meaning an option to buy.

Here’s what the Leeds United fans had to say about De Bock’s loan deal and the contract clause on Twitter:

Will you miss Laurens De Bock if he leaves permanently?

Yes, he's a legend!

Yes, he's a legend!

No way!

No way!

De Bock only played seven times for Leeds United, which means the 27-year-old played more matches with Sunderland (10) then he did for the Elland Road side.

These Peacocks fans are hardly upset with the news, they actually seem pretty happy with the fact De Bock will now be out on loan.

What Do We Think?

With the De Bock only ever playing seven times for Leeds United, it would be a surprise if Marcelo Bielsa even knew who the 27-year-old was, but Victor Orta will know exactly who he is as De Bock is one of his signings.

We feel this is a good move for the Belgium defender, as he might actually get some solid game time with his new club in the Netherlands.
