A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Kalvin Phillips’ tweet after he watched the Whites come from two goals down to seal a stunning victory over Millwall.
Phillips, who is valued at £9.9m by Transfermarkt, was suspended for the match after he was sent off against QPR last weekend.
However, he was in attendance at Elland Road and praised the team for an unbelievable second half.
Phillips also mentioned that he tried to convince Benjamin Mendy to sign for the Whites, and it was this part of the 24-year-old’s post that these Leeds fans loved.
Unbelievable 2nd half well done boys! That’s how we do it ?????
Tried convincing @benmendy23 to sign for us! Ill keep working on it! ?? @ Elland Road https://t.co/hDV6SzMn1v

Oh Kalvin! You’re currently suspended and now you’re tapping up other players. I’d prepare for a lifetime ban! ?

What do we think?
Mendy accompanied Leeds’ new striker Jean-Kevin Augustin to the match and tweeted after the game that he had enjoyed his time and that he was happy to see Marcelo Bielsa again.
It is good to see that even when Phillips is suspended, he can still be useful for the team by trying to get Mendy to Elland Road!
It was certainly a brilliant game for the Manchester City star to watch at Elland Road, and it is good to see that he was there to support Augustin.
However, a move for Mendy to Leeds is probably never going to happen.
