A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Right in the Gary Kellys talking about Ramon Fernando Nunez.
The former Honduran international played for Leeds from 2010-2013 and in that time made 25 appearances and scored five goals as well as providing two assists.
Was Nunez a failure at Leeds?
Yes

One supporter even stated that the former Leeds man is in the same bracket as ex-Whites striker Mike Grella, who featured 40 times for Leeds, producing five goals along the way.
Ramon Nunez for me is in the same bracket as Grella. There was a glimpse of something there

What do we think?
Nunez was signed after a successful trial period and found himself in and out of the Whites team in the league and actually only scored one goal in the Championship as well as two assists.
It was the EFL Cup where Nunez excelled, particularly in the 2011-12 season.
First, he scored a double in a 3-2 win over Bradford City at home, and then in the following round, he scored another brace in a 2-1 win over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium, and one of the goals was a cracking volley.
Unfortunately for Nunez, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in September 2012 and was released by the club in 2013.
This post by Right in the Gary Kellys, though, has made many Leeds fans reflect on the Honduran’s time at Elland Road.
