Liverpool fans have been drooling on Twitter over footage of new signing Takumi Minamino.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page of a video of Minamino’s highlights playing against the club recently.
This post then gathered many replies from Liverpool fans who were excited by Minamino’s January arrival at Anfield.
Would Minamino start ahead of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah?
Yes
No
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the latest club post on Minamino:

The 24-year-old Japanese winger played against Liverpool twice for Red Bull Salzburg in this year’s Champions League’s group stages.
But, fans can now see him in the flesh opposed to on a TV screen on the odd occasion as he looks set to take Anfield by storm in January, should he avoid any injuries before hand.
What’s even better is we’re now buying all the players that had crazy games against us and I Iove it

What do we think?
Just based on his performance at Anfield for Salzburg, Liverpool now have a very exciting player on their hands as he received a rating of 8.16 (as per WhoScored). But throughout this season so far, Minamino has been a standout player in Europe. In 22 appearances for Salzburg, Minamino has scored nine goals and picked up 11 assists along the way (per TransferMarkt).
Perhaps he could even fill the Philippe Coutinho void, with the clear ability to create and find the back of the net.
