Leeds United centre-back Ben White has made it into the EFL Team of the Week and is the only Peacocks player to do so this week.
Despite playing centre-back during the Luton Town match, White managed to assist Patrick Bamford in scoring the opener. The 22-year-old also finished the match with a highly impressive WhoScored rating of 7.3/10 and a pass success rate of 89%.

They should only add 10 players every week from now on, because that position is always Ben whites.

Apart from his reading of a game, positional sense, ability to take the ball forward, range of passing, tackling and heading I don’t see what he offers

Is Ben White the best centre-back in the Championship at the moment?
Yes
No
The fans clearly want to keep this a secret from White’s parent club Brighton, which isn’t going to help him continue his stay, but we guess it’s worth a try.
Well don Ben!
Luton keeper in nets says a lot too #lufc

Just adding another 0 onto his valuation

Might as well give him player of the year now absolute class #lufc

What Do We Think?
Ben White is already impressing everyone this season and achievements like this just simply back up the ‘hype’. You could probably make a case for him to be in the Team of the Week every time, although that might not be fair on all the other centre-backs in the league.
