Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have begged the club to see Ivan Cavaleiro return to Molineux from Fulham.
On Monday, the club posted an ‘on this day’ tweet of the Portuguese 26-year-old scoring a goal against Bolton Wanderers in 2017 (as per Wolves).
The Cottagers signed the attacker over the summer on loan, with an option to buy (as per Fulham), but supporters of the Old Gold were still missing their former wing wizard and wanted to see him return.

The £9-million rated man played 106 times in an Old Gold shirt, bagging 19 goals for himself and providing 20 assists for teammates over that duration (as per Transfermarkt).
Having signed at Craven Cottage over the summer, Cavaleiro has made 16 appearances for Fulham so far this term, scoring four and assisting four (as per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?
With an impressive 7.3/10 average rating for the season so far (as per Whoscored), it is difficult to imagine that Cavaleiro would not be able to do a job for Wolves currently.
Whether the option to buy is set in stone, or if Wolves have the possibility of a recall clause, it is unknown – however, it is clear what the fans want to see happen.
