Phil Hay’s injury update tweet has left Leeds United fans nervous about Eddie Nketiah’s future, with some fans fearing he’s going to be recalled by Arsenal.
The youngster is yet to start this season and has only played 265 minutes across 10 appearances, according to data per WhoScored.
The Arsenal loanee was taken to hospital and is reported to have a lower abdominal injury, although he is said to have trained as normal on Friday, according to a report by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
No timescale on Nketiah yet but he felt pain while at home last night having trained earlier in the day. Shackleton also suffering from a quad problem. #lufc

The Leeds fans seem less concerned about the injury and more concerned over the 20-year-old being recalled. Some fans also questioned Marcelo Bielsa’s training methods and wondering if that could be the cause of some of these injuries.
Never play for Leeds again. Arsenal upset he was always on the bench.

What Do We Think?
This is a bigger loss to Nketiah than it is Leeds, as the young Englishman was set to get his first league start against QPR.
However, The Peacocks will miss having him on the bench, as despite not starting in the Championship, the 20-year-old striker has managed to score three goals and achieve an average WhoScored rating of 6.49/10.
