Some Chelsea fans are getting rather excited about striker Tammy Abraham after the Englishman continued his impressive run of form against Watford at the weekend.
This praise comes off the back of a tweet shared by Chelsea journalist Alex Goldberg in which he revealed Abraham’s goal-scoring record so far this season.
This tweet then gathered a lot of love from Chelsea fans keen to show their appreciation for the Englishman.
Here’s a sample of Chelsea fans impressed with Abraham:
He’s actually good enough to be Chelsea’s #9 for years to come. Much better than I thought

Those stats don’t even compare to his work ethic and all round link up play.

More goals in 11 games than Shevchenko had in all his Chelsea career My no. 9

The 22-year-old scored his ninth goal of the season in Chelsea’s last match against Watford in the 2-1 win at Vicarage Road. But some Chelsea fans were quick to note Abraham’s all-round work for Chelsea, not just his fantastic goal-scoring tally.
The most important thing is his overall play is good, his hold up play is good overall almost a complete striker.

What do we think?
Abraham’s impressive start to life in the Premier League will have proved some doubters wrong.
Not even halfway through the current campaign and he is already looking like a contender for the West-London club’s long-term first-choice striker.
