These Leeds United fans weren’t happy with the casual use of the term ’10-man Wigan’, when the club was describing the U23’s win.
Leeds lost to a ’10-man Wigan’ in a very important match when pushing for promotion last season, which is why these Peacocks fans were so anxious when the club used that term. The U23’s beat Wigan 2-0 thanks to goals from Ryan Edmondson and Jordan Stevens.
Don’t ever casually just drop ’10 man Wigan’ again in there please.

Some of the fans were speaking about the actual result, with them calling for the youth players to be given more chances with the first team.
I like the look of Liam McCarron. Has plenty of toe about him going to be a cracking player for us

Exceptional pass from McCalmont for the second goal. The type of pass Bielsa will be proud of.

What Do We Think?
Perhaps the Leeds United media team dropped the ball on that one, however, it goes to show just how nervous these fans are about similar instances happening again this season, with them all panicking just when someone mentions a phrase. Another win for the U23’s is good to see and we are certain that Marcelo Bielsa will be keeping an eye on a few of them this season.
