OPINION
As if Leeds United had not contended with enough senior player injuries this season, they could be about to deal with one of the most worrying yet. Images emerged on Saturday of star forward Kemar Roofe wearing a leg brace while posing with a fan in Leeds city centre and also on his own Instagram page at home with his snoring dog. Roofe is one player the fans know all too well their team can ill afford to lose. He is the leading scorer with 14 Championship strikes this season and has taken his game to a new level under the demanding Marcelo Bielsa. Roofe has been the attack spearhead for most of the campaign, but his versatility is such he has dropped into a deeper role over the last two matches to accommodate the fit-again Patrick Bamford. The duo have the potential to wreak havoc at Championship level and Leeds fans are panicking about the possibility of Roofe facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines and adding to what has been a seemingly never-ending injury list this season.
