How Leeds should line up v Sheffield United

|

Goalkeeper and defence

Andy Lonergan (Goalkeeper) – The first change should see a straight swap in goal as Longeran returns to the net in place of an out of sorts Felix Wiedwald.

Luke Ayling (Right-back) – He should come back into the side in the full-back position and replace Cameron Borthwikc-Jackson. The latter has been ruled out through injury after being forced off at half-time with Leicester, while the consistent Ayling must start every league game.

Mathew Pennington (Centre-back) – He should replace fan favourite Jansson in the starting XI and his performance against Bristol City last weekend means he deserves to keep his spot.

Liam Cooper (Centre-back) – The captain should be back in the team and replace Conor Shaughnessy. Cooper will be crucial in keeping Sheffield United at bay with his leadership in defence.

Vurnon Anita (Left-back) – Anita should be one of just three players to keep their spot and the versatile ace should play on the left side of defence with Gaetano Berardi suspended.
