Leeds United host Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Untied on Friday night in the Championship and they should make eight changes to their side.

Thomas Christiansen made wholesale changes to his team in mid-week during the 3-1 defeat to Leicester in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

The Whites rested several key players and should return to a similar team that smashed Bristol City in their last league match.

Leeds are currently fourth in the league standings and are capable of picking up a win to close the gap to third-placed Sheffield United.

They will have the home advantage at Elland Road and have already proved when they are on song this season they can be unplayable.

Christiansen should make eight changes from the team that lost to Leicester in the cup despite their gritty performance against Premier League opposition.

Powerhouse defender Pontus Jansson should be one of the unfortunate players dropped from the starting XI as his form has dropped considerably in recent weeks.

The 26-year-old signed a new long-term deal with the Whites on Thursday which should boost his confidence, but right now based on form he should not be in the best XI.

This Is Futbol has selected a Leeds XI that is good enough to rips a very good Sheffield United to shreds if they can match the form they have already shown in glimpses this season.

Here is that team, including a 21-year-old that looks transformed this season.
