Leeds fans are shocked on Twitter after Jason Blunt opted to move to English minnows Mousehole AFC after leaving Elland Road.
Blunt, 39, was confirmed as leaving the Yorkshire giants on their official website on Wednesday, after first joining the Championship three years ago.
He departs from his role as Leeds Under-23 manager, with Mousehole later revealing that Blunt had taken over as head of academy at the South West Peninsula League One side.
Mousehole confirmed the move on their official Twitter account, which sees Blunt move to the south west peninsula which is where the Penzance-born Leeds youth player was born way back in 1977.

Mousehole are way down the English pyramid, with their current division standing in the 10th and 11th tier of professional football on these shores – nine levels behind the club he leaves.
Leeds fans are dumbfounded at the news, with many claiming it is similar to former manager Dave Hockaday’s decision to take control of football at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College.

Christ. This is like Hockaday, but completely the opposite direction.

Blunt first replaced Richard Naylor as Under-18 manager in 2014, before assisting Neil Redfearn during his short spell as manager in 2014-15. Former manager Monk installed Blunt as head of development in June 2016.
Leeds will now be on the lookout for Blunt’s replacement while they also look to bring in a new manager to replace former Swansea boss Monk.
