Burnley are the clear favourites to sign Leeds defender Charlie Taylor this summer, according to the latest betting odds.
Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the left-back at 1/4 to make a switch to the Premier League side before September 3 after previously offering a price of 4/7.
The 23-year-old, who has come through the club’s academy, looks set to be leaving Elland Road when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Taylor has opted against extending his contract at the Championship club despite being a popular figure amongst the Yorkshire supporters.
During his career at Leeds, Taylor played 104 matches in all competitions for his side, including playing in the top tier of Scottish football with Inverness.
Now, the highly-rated full-back could experience Premier League football for the first time in his career after making 93 appearances in the second tier of English football.
Taylor played 32 Championship and EFL Cup encounters for Leeds during the recently concluded campaign, including providing an impressive performance away at Liverpool in November.
Despite being knocked out of the quarter-final stages of the League Cup by the Reds, the likes of Taylor and Kemar Roofe stood out for their performances.
The experienced Gaetano Berardi played at left-back for Leeds last season, while highly-rated youngster Tyler Denton can also play in that position.
