The Spaniard began his career at Barcelona and following the Gunners’ Champions League encounters with the European champions earlier this season, former team-mates Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique enquired into whether he’d be open to returning to the Nou Camp.
But according to El Confidential, the Catalans are by no means alone in their pursuit of the Spain U21, with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Premier League rivals Manchester City also throwing flirtatious glances ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, the Spanish publication claims Arsenal are unlikely to sanction a transfer anytime soon – and that Bellerin is more than content with life in north London for now.
