According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur will look to offload Andros Townsend and Federico Fazio in January; whilst The Metro report that Manchester United are ready to hijack PSG’s offer for Robert Lewandowski.

Argentina international Fazio has made just one appearance across all competitions this season, an outing in a 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Arsenal, and appears to be rock-bottom of the centre-back pecking order at White Hart Lane following the summer arrivals of Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer.

Likewise, winger Andros Townsend hasn’t played a minute of senior football since late October following a bust-up with fitness coach Nathan Gardiner. Spurs are hopeful of selling both next month, with West Brom keen on Fazio and Aston Villa and Southampton eyeing Townsend – but the Lilywhites want a pricey £15million for the England international.

Meanwhile, The Metro – who cite German publication SportBild – claim Manchester United are prepared to match the £10.9million per year contract PSG have reportedly offered to Robert Lewandowski.

The 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best finishers in Europe and has netted 15 times in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season, helping fire Bayern Munich to the top of the table. Real Madrid are also eyeing the Poland international but with three years remaining on his Allianz Arena contract, the Bavarians are under no immediate obligation to sell.
