Ronaldo

According to reports from Mirror Football yesterday morning, Real Madrid will sell Cristiano Ronaldo if a suitor meets their €100million valuation.

The former Red Devil left Old Trafford for the Spanish capital in 2009 and has since affirmed his status as one of the top talents in the history of the sport; winning three Ballon d’Ors, the 2014 Champions League title and recently becoming Real Madrid’s all-time leading goal scorer with a sensational 324 goals in 310 appearances.

But reports from September allege the Portugal international could leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season – a view shared by Sky Sports’ La Liga correspondent Guillem Balague – quickly leading to rumours of an emotional return to Old Trafford.

And according to Mirror Football, who cite Fichajes amongst other Spanish sources, Manchester United’s chances of signing the 30 year-old have significantly improved.

They claim club president Florentino Perez has no intention of extending Ronaldo’s contract past 2018 and is in fact willing to sell the 6 foot 1 forward – providing Los Blancos’ €100million(£73.6million) valuation is met.

The Red Devils are by no means the only interested party, however. Along with the Premier League outfit, Ronaldo has been continuously linked with Ligue 1 champions PSG over the last few months.
