Pedro - £7million

According to reports from The Express this morning, Manchester United target Pedro is in his ‘last living hours’ as a Barcelona player.

The Spain international, whose CV boasts three Champions League titles, five La Liga titles, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship, looks set to trade the Nou Camp for Old Trafford this summer after slumping behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the pecking order.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool have all been linked this summer, but the Red Devils have held pole position in the race to sign the Spain international for some time and allegedly already agreed personal terms – a five-year contract worth £17.5million in total – earlier this week.

Likewise, reports yesterday claimed United had agreed a fee with the Catalans – £18million plus another £4.2million in add-ons.

And according to The Express, Pedro’s Old Trafford switch could now be completed within hours. Citing Spanish publication Sport, they claim United are ready to seal the deal now after Angel Di Maria’s £44.3million move to PSG was confirmed yesterday evening.

However, whether Barcelona are willing to finalise the 5 foot 6 attacker’s departure today remains to be seen. According to earlier reports, they want to hold onto Pedro until after their UEFA Super Cup clash with Sevilla on Tuesday 11th.
