Pedro - £7million

According to reports from The Daily Star this morning, Barcelona star Pedro has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of his expected move to Old Trafford.

The 27 year-old has done it and won it all throughout his spells with the Catalans and the Spanish national team – winning five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship – but is expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer after slumping behind Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez in the pecking order.

He’s been strongly linked with Premier League foursome Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent months, but the latter club appear to be in pole position for his signature.

Indeed, reports last week claimed that Pedro has already told friends of his intentions to join the Red Devils, whilst his mother informed Jaime Lorenzo (the president of Pedro’s first club San Isidro) that the 5 foot 6 attacker is on the verge of moving to England.

And according to The Daily Star, who cite Spanish publication Sport, the 51-cap international has now agreed personal terms with United. They claim he’s accepted a five-year contract that will see him earn £3.5million per annum.

Activating Pedro’s £22million release clause should be no trouble for the Red Devils either, but the Carrington outfit may have to wait until after their opening fixture of the new Premier League season against Tottenham next Saturday to officially sign him.

Barcelona are hoping they can retain the winger-forward for their UEFA Super Cup final with Sevilla on August 11th, amid concerns over the match fitness of Copa America duo Lionel Messi and Neymar.
