The presenter of the YouTube channel ‘WeAreTottenhamTV’ has stated that he has a ‘hunch’ that Antonio Conte will not be the manager, come the end of the season.
In fact, he believes that when the summer rolls around, former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be back at the helm.
Conte joined Tottenham in November of last year, following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo. The Italian was able to achieve a top-four finish with the club last season.
The host of the channel has ‘reservations’ that chairman, Daniel Levy will back Conte, causing him to leave when his contract expires in the summer.
He stated (7:39), “I’ve really got this hunch that Pochettino will be the Tottenham manager next season. I think he will be our next manager. And in terms of Antonio Conte, obviously, my preference is for Antonio Conte to stay and Daniel Levy to back him and Spurs to go from strength to strength, but I just have my reservations if that’s going to happen, and I’ve got a feeling that Conte won’t sign that contract he will end up leaving and Pochettino will take over the reins.”

We believe that Levy has to do all he can to get Conte to sign a new deal with Spurs. If anyone is going to get them a trophy in the near future, it’s him.
The Italian has won a number of trophies in his time as a manager. He’s won the Premier League and FA Cup with Chelsea, two Super Cups with Juventus and four Serie A titles, three with the Old Lady and the other with Inter Milan.
With a list of honours as rich as that, it’s clear to see that Conte is an out-and-out winner.
In his time with Spurs, Pochettino wasn’t able to win any trophies, but did reach a Champions League final. All of his honours have come from managing Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine was definitely a success with Tottenham, winning 160 of his 293 games in charge. He would be a suitable replacement for Conte. However, keeping the Italian at Spurs must be the club’s priority, due to his sheer ability to obtain trophies.
