Tottenham Hotspur’s financial results is expected to be coming soon which could provide an idea of what is there to spend in January.
This has been suggested by Alasdair Gold who has been speaking on his latest YouTube video with the return of Premier League football on the horizon.
Spurs went into the World Cup break inside of the Premier League’s top four and with a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League booked for next year.
This all came after a fairly busy summer transfer window which saw Fabio Paratici sign eight new players and spend in the region of £145m (via Transfermarkt).
And now it seems as though Spurs’ finances will be made clear for public scrutiny soon and it may provide an insight into how the club may approach the January window:
(38:00) “Spurs financial results will be coming soon. I’m told that’s all being worked on. So we’ll have plenty to drill into and dive into and understand in that not only what’s been and gone and paid for and spent on, but also what’s come in and recouped and what it means for the future. And particularly January you’d imagine as well.”
“And normally we get a Daniel Levy [message]. He kind of has to explain it like a Chairman’s message around it as well.”

It has certainly been a busy year for the Lilywhites both on and off the pitch with a number of non-football events taking place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Daniel Levy saw the likes of the NFL, Lady Gaga, Guns N’ Roses and rugby union all visit the N17 ground within the last 12 months which will have brought in a considerable revenue stream for the club.
And with Antonio Conte’s side performing on the pitch, Spurs have seen an impressive average attendance from the fans with over 61,000 fans set as this season’s average (via Transfermarkt).
As the January transfer window approaches, it will certainly be interesting to see how Spurs fair financially going into the window.
