Presenter ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United have ‘hope’ winger Jarrod Bowen will pass a late fitness test and be fit to play in the club’s match this weekend.

Earlier on in the week, the Hammers took on Silkeborg in the Europa Conference League and despite getting the win, they didn’t come through the fixture unscathed.

Indeed, while speaking to the press after the game, David Moyes stated that there was uncertainty over Bowen, explaining that he picked up ‘a bit of an ankle injury’.

Fast forward just a few days later, and West Ham will now face Manchester United in the Premier League. It seems unclear as to whether or not the Englishman will be back in time, but it sounds as though there is a chance he will just make it.

While writing for The West Ham Way, Ex told readers: “Jarrod Bowen faces a late test on a minor ankle injury that he sustained during the week. There is hope he should be available but the test will determine this.”

TIF Thoughts on Jarrod Bowen and West Ham…

Man United are unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions, so West Ham will need to be at their best if they are to pick up any points from this game at Old Trafford.

With that in mind, Moyes will likely be desperate to have Bowen fit to play a part. The winger has established himself as a key part of the team over recent seasons and has five goals in total this term, having scored 18 during the campaign prior.

A slow start to the league means the Hammers come into this game in 13th place, but they could move into the top ten – and even overtake Liverpool – if they were to come away with all three points.

There’s little doubting a fit Bowen could be the key to the club’s success.
