ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United are prepared to sell Tomas Soucek this summer.
Now the end of the season is upon us, the club can reflect on what has been a pretty decent season. After all, they managed to make it to the semi-finals of the Europa League, as well as finishing 7th in the Premier League to secure European football again next term.
However, looking to improve his squad in a somewhat ruthless fashion, David Moyes is now prepared to let a key player go this summer.
Just the season before, Soucek was named Hammer of the Year, but if the latest claims are true, he could now be heading for the exit door.
In a recent post on The West Ham Way Patreon page, club insider Ex wrote that West Ham will entertain bids for the Czech, as well as a number of other first-team players – and would be open to selling if the price is right.
He wrote: “Club prepared to listen to offers for Masuaku, Randolph, Soucek, Benrahma and Vlasic if right offers come in.”

TIF Thoughts on Tomas Soucek and West Ham…
Interestingly, earlier this season, David Moyes praised both Soucek and Vladimir Coufal for helping transform West Ham United as he called them ‘sensational’.
If West Ham are to let the midfielder go, it certainly would feel like a pretty bold move. Indeed, Soucek has been an integral part of the side over the past few seasons, playing at least 35 Premier League games in consecutive campaigns and scoring 15 goals along the way.
With that in mind, any sale would surely have to mean a new central midfield option was brought in – presumably of higher quality – to replace the Czech.
The summer transfer market has only just begun, so these rumours are fresh and there may be a long way to go before any sale of the player is actually sanctioned. However, if Ex’s information is true, Soucek may have played his last game in a West Ham shirt.
