Rangers: Giovanni van Bronckhorst drops huge admission on Instagram

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has taken to Instagram to send an encouraging four-word message to the Rangers fans following their recent victory. 

Thursday night saw Rangers take to Ibrox in the Europa League quarter-finals, having to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Sporting Braga.

It was the perfect start for the Gers who took the lead of the tie thanks to a James Tavernier double before the half-time whistle, with their visitors going down to 10 men as Vitor Tormena saw red.

David Carmo found the back of the net for Braga late on, making it 2-2 on aggregate and forcing extra time. Kemar Roofe was the hero for the Gers, sending them through to the semis as Iuri Medeiros was then the second man dismissed for Braga.

After the game, Van Bronckhorst shared his love for the home faithful as he looks to guide the Gers to European glory:

After losing Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa earlier this season, seeing the new man in the dugout dropping claims about how much he loves the club and Ibrox will be a huge encouragement for the supporters who will hope to see the Dutchman lift European silverware.

His focus will have quickly switched to this weekend as Rangers look to get revenge on their arch-rivals Celtic in an Old Firm clash in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup. Earlier this month, the Gers lost in the league to the Hoops which saw them fall further behind at the top of the table. The semi-final will provide Van Bronckhorst with the chance to put that right quickly.
