Tottenham Hotspur secured a vital win on Saturday night, downing Brighton to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup. The 3-1 win keeps Antonio Conte’s quest for silverware alive for this season, with the London club safely in the hat.

It was a comfortable win for Spurs who were 2-0 up thanks to a goal from Harry Kane and an own goal from Solly March. Yves Bissouma bagged to give the visitors hope, but Kane quashed that with what was practically an immediate response to restore the two goal cushion.

Son Heung-min’s return from injury was another major positive for Spurs, with the ITV punditry team praising the forward. Former Brighton, Crystal Palace and Rochdale forward Glenn Murray wasn’t shy to praise the South Korea captain.

During the show on ITV, he went on to say: “For me he’s the jewel in the crown. He brings a presence when he plays. Sort of an injection of life into the team, he makes things happen. He’s always looking for Harry Kane. For me he is Tottenham’s best and most important player. To tie him down to a deal is fantastic business once again by Tottenham and Daniel Levy.”

It’s clear to see the admiration Murray has for the forward. He signed his new contract at the start of the season, with the pundit claiming Daniel Levy deserves plenty of credit for getting him tied down to a long term deal.

How many times did Mido score for Spurs in the 2006/07 season?

When you consider Spurs have players like Harry Kane in the attacking line with him, to refer to the £72m-rated Son as the jewel in the crown is serious praise.

Despite his injury that ruled him out from the start of January until now (missing five games) his importance is clear. This season he has started 85% of league games and played 83% match minutes. He also has a 46% goal participation rate in the Premier League – very impressive stuff.

LOL, Daniel Levy, Lewis and ENIC have held Spurs back for years, and while they hold the control of the club, we’ll win nothing, just like the last 20 years they’ve been in control.
The only way to get change at Spurs is to force out ENIC and Levy.
They are parasites that will bleed us dry for a small profit. Instead of investing in the squad again Levy has made a profit in the window while making us weaker.
Levy, Lewis and ENIC OUT !!
