A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans are very happy on Twitter to be linked with Georginio Wijnaldum and Julian Draxler.

Spurs are seemingly looking to overhaul their midfield this month, with the likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Dele Alli all allowed to leave the club if deals can be brokered.

Meanwhile, 90min is reporting that PSG duo Wijnaldum and Draxler are being eyed as possible recruits.

Would Wijnaldum be an upgrade on Ndombele?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

It is thought either of those players could possibly be used as a potential swap if the French giants end up signing Ndombele or Alli on loan, with both PSG men failing to start regularly under Mauricio Pochettino this season.

A lot of Tottenham fans on Twitter are excited with this double transfer link, especially given the pedigree Wijnaldum has in the Premier League.

What have these Spurs fans been saying?

“Wijnaldum is so underrated would take him”

@robbie_burton

“wijnaldum should already be here would be the best midfielder we had since dembele”

@Ndombolo20

“Anyone who doesn’t think wijnaldum wouldn’t immediately become out best midfielder since dembele seriously doesn’t know ball”

@goatsissoko

“Not draxler. Wijnaldum all day. Perfect for us. Get it done”

@1882spurs1

“YESSSS ABSOLUTELY”

@N17_James

“Wijnaldum absolute no brainer..we aint getting better than him in January, his experience would be so valuable!”

@Alexthfc3

These Spurs fans are clearly a lot more excited by links to Wijnaldum than Draxler, which could be down to the fact the Dutchman was a regular for Liverpool and Newcastle United during his time in England and helped the Reds win both the Premier League and Champions League, so fans will know what he is all about.

    Wijnaldum is 31, I’m not getting excited about signing a player that won’t be here two minutes, what’s the point? Levy sign some top quality or go.
