West Bromwich Albion fans have been reacting to injury news that has emerged from the club surrounding Dara O’Shea.

The Irish defender suffered an ankle fracture back in September that has meant he has been limited to just five appearances in all competitions for the Baggies so far this season.

However, it appears as though he is on the mend and on the verge of a comeback.

Speaking in his press conference ahead of their FA Cup clash with Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, Baggies boss Valérien Ismael provided an update on his situation, stating: “Dara O’Shea looks very good, so actually he’s back in training normally with the squad from next week.”

The news was then relayed by reporter Joe Chapman on Twitter, as well as Twitter page Baggies Report for fans to react to, where it’s fair to say they were pretty excited to hear the news:

“DARAAAAAAAA”

“Fantastic news, can’t wait to see him back. Feels like since he’s not played we’ve missed some real spirit.”
“Best news I’ve heard for a while, badly need him back.”
“Cant wait. Such a talent”
“We need him ASAP!!”
