A whole host of Celtic fans have slammed Scott Bain following his performance in the Europa League.
Celtic managed to secure an encouraging victory in the Europa League in the final round of matches against Real Betis thanks to a David Turnbull penalty, although the three points mattered little given Celtic were already knocked out of the competition.
Ange Postecoglou rotated his squad and that saw Bain handed a rare start, as he’s been relegated to the bench since Joe Hart’s arrival, but after scoring an own goal against Betis, he may not be handed many more chances.
Unsurprisingly, a lot of Celtic fans are furious on Twitter following Bain’s performance.

Given this match had little significance and that Celtic have a cup final on the horizon, it’s no surprise that Postecoglou wanted to hand Hart some rest as he’s been a regular ever since arriving from Tottenham.
However, now he’s had that rest, Bain may have to settle for a place on the bench for the foreseeable future if these comments are anything to go by.
Some people sure talk out of their backsides! Bain had a few excellent stops tonight. Let’s not forget he isn’t exactly playing regularly to be sharp!
