A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left furious on Twitter as Tanguy Ndombele is linked with a move away.

Spurs splashed out a club-record £54 million on Ndombele in 2019 and since then, three permanent managers have tried to get the most out of the midfielder, but considering his best attacking output in a single campaign is three goals and two assists, they appear to have failed.

Antonio Conte is the latest manager trying to work his magic with the midfielder, but that has only seen Ndombele start one game across all competitions since the manager’s arrival – and that has led to Football Insider claiming Juventus are interested in signing the Frenchman.

Has Ndombele been a flop at Spurs?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

A lot of Tottenham fans on Twitter are not happy with this transfer claim.

What have these Spurs fans been saying?

“Looks like my time here at Tottenham Hotspur is up.”

@hxrrythfc

“Day ruined”

@ConteEnjoyer

“If I see anyone in the comments unironically suggesting a swap for Mckennie im going to lose it”

@tottenbloop

“If we swap Ndombele for Mckennie I want Paratici and conte out immediately”

@lxstlosty

We let this guy go, we will surely regret it bt we’re Spurs, strengthening other clubs is what we do”

@ShepherdNdhlov

“Nonsense”

@KieranKyze

“Painful very painful but I would rather see him go somewhere else where he could be appreciated he deserves better treatment”

@comgreen

These Spurs fans clearly want Tottenham to keep Ndombele in the hope that Conte could turn his career around and get him performing at the level he was with Lyon, where he registered seven assists in his final season with the French club and convinced Tottenham to sign him.

    I must say, I was one calling for the signature of Ndombele and was really pleased when we signed him but now having watched him play for Spurs I’ve come to the conclusion that Conte is right, he’s not a player we need in our team, just like Dele, Ndombele is a lazy players that doesn’t do the necessary work off of the ball and is also too greedy on the ball. We’d be much better of getting a quality player in that works for the team and not just for himself.

    It’s not who leaves, it’s who we get in to replace!
