Lots of Celtic fans have flocked to a post from the official club Twitter account following their defeat to Real Betis on Thursday night. 

The tasted defeat in the first of their Europa League group stage games in a seven-goal thriller at the Benito Villamarín Stadium.

Following the game, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou spoke to the club’s media to discuss his thoughts on their midweek defeat in which the initially took a two-goal lead.

“I’m really proud of the players. Against a quality opponent, we took the game to them and we had our moments in the game where we could’ve got away from them,” said the Australian.

Next up for the Hoops in Europe is a home clash against Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen who opened their European account for the season with a 2-1 win over Ferencvaros.

The currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership after just five games, however, it seems the tension among some of their fans is beginning to increase following the Betis defeat.
