A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to show their delight at the latest Tanguy Ndombele footage.

Spurs travelled to Rennes on Thursday evening for their match in the Europa Conference League group stages and it ended up being a disappointing affair with the north London club having to settle for a 2-2 draw after falling behind 2-1 in the second half.

Is Ndombele Spurs' best midfielder?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

There was some form of excitement and delight for Spurs fans though as their club-record signing, Ndombele started his first game of the season and fans appear to be buzzing after seeing him complete a double nutmeg on one of the Rennes players.

The footage was relayed to them by Tottenham Tiers for them to react to, with many of them left delighted with the footage:

What have these Tottenham fans been saying?

“he NEEDS to be starting for us”

@lleenaaahh

“Literally the best player I’ve ever seen”

@ThfcYac

“If he doesn’t get game time against Chelsea, we riot”

@Haneeka_

“He is the most talented player to put on Spurs jersey since Modric. I mean it.”

Ndombele had not featured at all in any competition under Nuno Espirito Santo so far, perhaps as a result of his declaration that he wished to leave Spurs during the summer, but once nothing materialised he confirmed that he’s willing to now work hard and fight for his place.

How many points did Tottenham gain in the following seasons? First up: 2020/21

Given Tottenham’s injury problems at the minute, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura going off against Rennes, adding to the likes of Eric Dier and Son Heung-Min who were already ruled out of the game, a reshuffle of formation could see a place open up for Ndombele.
