Celtic fans have been reacting to claims that they have shown an interest in Legia Warsaw defender Josip Juranovic.
The club have been struggling to fill the right-back spot so far this summer, with the closest they could come being their failed attempt to land Sacha Boey from French side Rennes and the rumoured arrival of Aurelio Buta, but it looks as if they have multiple irons in the fire.
According to Sky Sports News (13:44, 27/7/21), Celtic have shown an interest in the Croatian right-back, although they face stiff competition from the likes of Fiorentina and Spartak Moscow in a race for his signature. The Croatian has become something of a regular for his country in recent seasons, and started twice for them during the recent European Championship.
Should signing a right-back be Celtic's priority?
Yes
No
This news was relayed to fans via @aboutceltic on Twitter, where it seems a number of them were rather happy to see his name being linked with them:
“I am so for this. Yes please. Give. Give now.”
Celtic have already splashed the cash this summer on a number of signings, so it looks like they are really flexing their muscles in an attempt to get back the league title from Rangers.
