Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to an injury update from Marcelo Bielsa regarding Kalvin Phillips.
On Tuesday, the injury update was relayed to social media by the chief football writer for the Yorkshire Evening Post Graham Smyth.
The post relayed quotes from a Bielsa press conference in which he stated: “It is a problem in the knee and [he] probably is not going to be involved in the next three matches.”
As Leeds only have three fixtures remaining this season (per BBC), that would suggest that he will be out for the remainder of this term.
Lots of the Elland Road faithful then flocked to the Twitter post to air their thoughts on the injury.

Phillips has made 37 Championship appearances for the Whites so far this season in which he has bagged himself two goals and two assists for teammates (per Transfermarkt).
Will Kalvin Phillips' absence change the outcome of the Championship season?

From the 24-year-old Englishman’s 37 Championship appearances this term, he has earned an impressive 7.22/10 average rating, making him Leeds United’s second-best performer in the league (per WhoScored).
Not what we wanted although I know this team will do what is required to get the job done. I think KP has had the problem for a few weeks now because I’ve noticed White making more forward runs in the last two games.

???? KP must be devastated

As can be seen in these responses from Leeds supporters, they were clearly gutted that the defensive midfielder is set to miss the remainder of the season.
